Tago Junior Swim Cap

Description

Silicone and latex caps pull hair, and for a child that is the difference between wanting to swim and not. The Tago Junior is the fabric alternative: made from soft, stretchy material rather than a moulded rubber, so it slides on without dragging and sits without pinching. Being permeable to water, it does not trap moisture against the head and it dries quickly afterwards, so it goes back into a swim bag rather than staying damp until the next session. It is easy to put on, which is what a child managing their own kit before a lesson actually needs. Five colourways are offered, useful for a coach identifying swimmers in a lane. Cressi publish no separate specification for the junior size beyond the adult Tago it is based on, so nothing further is claimed here. It suits a child who dislikes silicone caps.
