Aqualung Tank Buckle w/Griplock with Wrapture System

Description

A cylinder that slips in its band mid-dive rolls the whole rig on the back, and the usual cause is a buckle that was never quite tight enough because tightening it properly risked a pinched finger. The GripLock band is built around removing that trade: a metal buckle with a finger-saving design that can be pulled hard without catching skin, and micro-adjustment on the strap so a cylinder of a different diameter is accommodated by setting the band rather than by hoping. That matters most on a rental fleet or a club set where a 10 litre and a 15 litre cylinder go on the same BCD in the same week. This is the version for BCDs built with the Wrapture harness system, which is the point to check before ordering, because the two are not interchangeable. It suits a diver replacing a tank band on a Wrapture-equipped Aqua Lung BCD.
