Tank Valve M25 with Plug (Handle on Diver's Right)

Description

Take the plug out and the crossover port opens for a manifold, which means a diver moving up to twins keeps this valve and buys the manifold and the left-hand valve instead of replacing all three. That is what makes it a valve which starts life on a single cylinder and can finish as half of a twin set. As supplied, the blanking plug closes the crossover and makes it standalone, with the handwheel on the diver's right and the plug on the opposite side; handedness is fixed at manufacture. M25 is the cylinder neck thread, the European standard on steel cylinders, so the valve suits a cylinder cut for that thread alone. The partner cylinder in a manifolded pair takes the left-hand valve. A DIN or INT conversion is set separately by the tank valve insert, and the soft protection cap keeps the outlet clean between fills. Fitting is a qualified cylinder technician's job. It suits a single-cylinder diver who may later build twins.
