Technical Diving Helmet

Description

Wreck penetration and cave diving both involve a ceiling, and a ceiling is a thing to be hit with the head sooner or later. That is the first argument for a helmet. The second is that it gives lights and cameras somewhere solid to bolt to, which a hood does not: side rails and a front plate take the mount range, so a torch, a head light or a camera can be carried where the diver is already looking with both hands left free for a reel, a valve or a line. The shell is moulded ABS, 585 grams in air, with a padded liner and an adjustable four point harness. Mounts for lights, head lights, GoPro cameras and the 3000 series are listed separately. That answers cave, wreck and any overhead environment. It suits a technical diver working under a ceiling.
