Description

A hose that leaves a first stage straight out from the port often has to bend hard straight away, which strains the crimp and pushes the hose into places it does not belong. A 90 degree swivel at the port turns the hose along the cylinder from the start. Tecline make this adaptor in two versions: one for an LP port with a 3/8 thread and one for an HP port with a 7/16 thread, both with Viton O-rings, and it swivels so the hose can be aimed after fitting. The LP version helps route a drysuit or wing inflator hose on a crowded first stage, or tidy a short sidemount hose along the body. The HP version drops a pressure gauge hose straight down a stage or pony cylinder instead of letting it stick out sideways. Each is sold singly. Fitting to the first stage and a leak check are work for a qualified technician. It suits a diver who wants hoses to leave the first stage at a clean angle.
