Adapter G5/8 Male to M26X2 Female

Description

A decompression regulator with an M26x2 connector cannot be used on a cylinder that only has a standard G5/8 DIN valve. This Tecline adapter solves that mismatch: a G5/8 DIN male thread in the 300 bar length, which fits both 232 and 300 bar valves, and an M26x2 female thread that takes an oxygen regulator, with Viton seals. Tecline rate the female side at 230 bar and also list the part as a filling adapter. A diver whose oxygen regulator is set up for M26x2 can breathe from a G5/8 stage cylinder on a trip where no M26x2 cylinders are available. A centre can use it to test an M26x2 regulator from a G5/8 air supply. Mixing thread standards removes the physical separation between air and oxygen equipment, so only a diver trained in oxygen service should use it, with oxygen-clean parts. It suits a trained technical diver bridging the two thread standards.
