Adapter M26X2 Male to G5/8 Female 232 bar

Description

Nitrox and oxygen cylinders built to the European M26x2 standard will not accept a G5/8 DIN regulator, and that separation is deliberate. This Tecline adapter bridges it: an M26x2 male thread screws into the oxygen valve, and a G5/8 DIN female thread takes a standard regulator, rated to 232 bar with Viton seals. Tecline list it as a filling adapter as well. A technical diver with an oxygen-clean G5/8 regulator can connect it to an M26x2 decompression cylinder on a trip where only those cylinders are available. A gas blender can use it to connect G5/8 filling equipment to an M26x2 valve. Because the M26x2 thread exists to keep oxygen-rich gas and air equipment apart, using this adapter is a decision for a diver trained in gas blending or oxygen service, with oxygen-clean parts on both sides. It suits a trained technical diver or blender working across both thread standards.
