Aluminium H Backplate 3mm

Description

For a travel rig, the lightest plate that still keeps a cylinder steady is the right one, and every gram saved is space for something else in the bag. Tecline's aluminium H backplate is 3 mm aluminium in black, cut to an H shape that keeps the full 40 by 26 cm height and width but weighs 0.53 kg. Tecline size it for divers over 170 cm tall. On a warm-water trip with a thin wetsuit, it adds almost nothing to the weight a diver has to balance. For a fly-in single-cylinder rig with a donut or wing and a single tank adapter, it keeps the whole package light. The black finish suits a low-key rig, and Tecline's H soft pads fit the same outline. In cold water with a drysuit, a stainless plate brings useful weight that this one does not.
