Aluminium Single Tank Adapter

Description

A single cylinder strapped straight to a flat plate tends to roll, and a single tank adapter gives it a stable, shaped base to sit against. Tecline's aluminium adapter is 3 mm aluminium, 7 by 36 cm, and weighs 270 g complete with its screws. It fits between the backplate and the cylinder bands and comes with the screws, wing nuts and washers to mount it. For a diver who switches between a twinset at home and a single cylinder on holiday, it bolts on and off in minutes. On a travel rig, it adds far less weight than either of Tecline's stainless steel adapters. Tank bands are sold separately. It suits a single-cylinder backplate diver who wants a light aluminium adapter.
