Description

A standard mouthpiece asks the jaw to keep a flat bite for the whole dive, and many divers finish a long dive with an aching jaw because of it. Tecline's anatomic mouthpiece is shaped to follow the mouth more closely, spreading the grip so the regulator can be held with less effort. This one is the M/L size in black silicone, suited to an average to larger mouth. It earns its place on a two-hour cave or decompression dive, on a day of three boat dives on a liveaboard, and on a primary regulator used for teaching, where an instructor spends the dive talking round it. It fits a standard second stage mouthpiece neck and is held with a cable tie, and swapping it takes a minute at the kit bench. A diver with a smaller mouth may prefer Tecline's S/M size, which is not part of this listing. It suits a diver who wants a more comfortable bite on long dives.
