Argon Backmount

Description

On a twinset the obvious place for an argon bottle is on the backplate between the cylinders, where it stays out of the way and does not hang off one side. Tecline's argon backmount is a webbing mount that fixes a small aluminium argon cylinder to the backplate. Tecline make it for 0.85 L, 1.5 L and 3.0 L aluminium cylinders, with a loop that takes the cylinder and a strap that secures it. That suits a twinset diver who wants the argon bottle out of sight behind the back, a diver moving an argon system from a side strap to the backplate, and a cold-water diver setting up a first drysuit argon rig. The mount is black webbing with the Tecline logo. Placement on the plate and the routing of the inflator hose are worth checking with the whole rig assembled in the water. It suits a twinset diver who wants a small argon cylinder mounted on the backplate.
