Description
Weight pockets, soft pads and other plate-mounted parts are only as secure as the bolts holding them, and odd hardware-store bolts rarely have the right head or length. Tecline's backplate bolt pairs a stainless steel screw with a delrin nut, sold as a bolt and nut together. The short 8 mm version fixes a single accessory to the plate, such as a weight pocket. The long 12 mm version is for two layers, such as a weight pocket fitted over a soft pad. A Tecline soft pad needs six or eight bolts depending on its shape, and more when pockets share the holes, so it pays to order enough. It suits a diver fitting pockets or pads to a backplate.
