Description

An expandable valve is only as tidy as whatever closes its side port on the days it runs as a plain single valve. This Tecline blind plug seals that port on their expandable mono valve, rated to 232 bar, with a hex socket head and two o-rings on its spigot. A diver who splits a twinset back into two singles for a warm-water trip needs a plug in each valve once the isolator bridge comes off. After a winter of ice dives on a second outlet, the plug returns the valve to its single-outlet form. A spare pair in the save-a-dive box covers a plug lost at the fill station. Left and right versions match the valve hand, so the plug must suit the valve it goes into. Fitting is work for a qualified cylinder technician, who checks the o-rings and the port before the cylinder is filled. It suits an owner of Tecline expandable valves.
