Buoy Inflator Tube

Description

A surface marker buoy is only useful if it can be filled quickly at depth, and a split or lost inflator tube leaves the valve with nothing to blow through. Tecline sell this small inflator tube as a replacement part for buoy inflation valves. It is a dark plastic tube with a flanged end, pictured on its own. A diver whose buoy tube cracked after being trodden on in a boat can restore the buoy rather than replace it. A club that keeps a rack of buoys for students can keep spare tubes with the repair kit. A technical diver carrying a closed buoy on long decompression dives can pack a spare for the trip. Tecline do not publish which buoys it fits or its size, so fit should be checked against the buoy's valve before a dive. It suits an owner of a Tecline buoy with a worn or missing inflator tube.
