Tecline Chinch Adapter

Description

A one-piece DIR harness is simple and reliable, but the shoulder straps are hard to adjust once the webbing is threaded, which makes kitting up over different suits a chore. Tecline's chinch adapter bolts to the backplate and lets the shoulder straps of a one-piece harness be tightened or loosened in a moment. It is stainless steel and comes with soft washers to suit both 3 mm and 6 mm plates, plus its fixing screw. A diver who wears a wetsuit in summer and a drysuit in winter can snug the harness for each without cutting or re-threading. On the surface, the shoulders can be eased for comfort and then pulled tight before descending. Installation is quick, and it works only with one-piece DIR-style harnesses. It suits a DIR harness diver who wants adjustable shoulders.
