Description

Shoulder straps take the whole weight of a plate and cylinder on every walk to the water, so the way they sit decides whether a harness is forgotten or felt all dive. Tecline's Comfort Lady harness uses the adjustable Comfort layout with Lady Comfort shoulder pads and an extra strap for fitting the shoulder straps in place. A diver setting up her first backplate and wing gets a harness that adjusts at the shoulders and waist rather than one that has to be cut and re-threaded. On a cold-water weekend in a drysuit, the waist straps open up for the extra layers and close again for a summer wetsuit. The kit adds two bent D-rings and one straight D-ring on six tri-glides, a bungee loop for the inflator hose, five accessory bands, a stainless buckle and a crotch strap. Tecline advise an authorised adviser for the first fitting, and the backplate is sold separately. It suits a woman who wants an adjustable harness with dedicated shoulder padding.
