Crotch Strap

Description

Without a crotch strap, a backplate rides up the back as soon as the wing is inflated at the surface, and the waist belt slides towards the chest. Tecline's crotch strap stops that and gives the harness two more clip-off points: a front D-ring sewn in place and a rear D-ring that slides and locks with a stopper. The length adjusts, and Tecline say it fits all popular diving harnesses. For a diver moving from a jacket BCD, it is the part that keeps a new backplate rig sitting where it was fitted. For a scooter diver, the front D-ring gives a tow point. As a spare, it replaces a frayed or badly cut strap. It suits a diver whose harness needs a new or replacement crotch strap.
