Description

The o-ring on a DIN regulator connector seals against the valve on every dive, and a nicked or flattened one is a common cause of a hiss at the valve. This Tecline pack contains ten o-rings made for the DIN connection of a regulator first stage. It comes in Tecline's standard compound or in Viton, the material commonly chosen for nitrox. A diver who spots a cut o-ring during a pre-dive check can swap it on the boat and still make the dive. A club with several DIN regulators keeps a stock for the fill room. A twinset diver packing for a trip carries spares for both first stages. Tecline's part reference gives the inner diameter as 12.37 mm. Fitting needs a pick and a light smear of suitable lubricant, and the correct size should be checked against the regulator. It suits any diver or workshop using DIN regulators.
