DIN Valve Plug G5/8

Description

Sand on a beach entry, salt crystals after a boat dive and dust in a storeroom all end up inside an open DIN outlet unless something is screwed into it. This Tecline plug threads into a G5/8 DIN valve outlet and carries a cord so it stays tied to the cylinder rather than rolling across the deck. It comes in two materials: a silver aluminium plug with a knurled head, and a black Delrin dust cup. A diver doing shore dives from a gravel beach keeps grit out of the thread between dives. A dive centre marks which cylinders are filled and ready by plugging their outlets after the fill. On a road trip, the plug protects the outlet while cylinders roll around in the back of a vehicle. It is a dust cover only, and the valve must be closed before it goes on. It suits any diver or centre with DIN cylinders.
