DIR Harness

Description

A one-piece harness has no buckles on the shoulders to slip, no pads to wear out and nothing to fail far from the exit of a wreck or cave. Tecline's DIR harness is a single length of 50 mm webbing threaded through the backplate, with two bent D-rings and a straight D-ring on tri-glides, a stainless buckle and a crotch strap. The standard version lets the D-rings slide so they can be set for a twinset one weekend and a single cylinder the next. The fixed D-ring version locks them in place with tri-glides, which suits a rental or school rig that many hands adjust. Hard webbing is the stiffest of the three styles, and the soft webbing with the Tecline E logo is the most pliable against a thin wetsuit. Once cut to size, the webbing is fitted to one diver. It suits a diver who wants the simplest harness to build a backplate rig around.
