DIR Harness with Fixed D-Rings and 3mm Stainless Backplate

Description

D-rings that creep along the webbing between dives have to be found and reset each time a rig is assembled, which costs time on a busy training day. In this Tecline set the D-rings on the one-piece DIR harness are fixed in position with tri-glides, so once they are set they stay where the diver put them. The harness comes on a 3 mm stainless steel standard backplate of about 2 kg, with a crotch strap. For an instructor who strips and rebuilds a rig often, the fixed D-rings return to the same place every time. On a single cylinder in a cold quarry, the steel plate carries some of the lead off the belt. The webbing is cut to one diver, and the plate measures 40 by 26 cm, the size Tecline recommend for divers over 170 cm. No wing, bands or adapter come with it. It suits a diver who wants a DIR rig whose clip points never wander.
