Description

A rig that weighs under a kilogram complete is built for the divers who most need one: small adults and younger divers who have to lift their own kit onto a boat. This set puts the one-piece DIR MINI harness, in standard webbing with movable D-rings, on a black 3 mm aluminium H MINI backplate of 0.31 kg, with a crotch strap, and the whole set weighs 0.91 kg. The MINI plate measures 32 by 20 cm, and Tecline recommend it for divers under 150 cm. On a holiday in warm water, the rig barely registers in a suitcase. For a small diver beginning technical training, the DIR layout teaches the same hose routing and clip points used on a full-size plate. The webbing is cut to the diver, so the harness is not meant for sharing. It comes without a wing or a single tank adapter. It suits a small diver who wants a full DIR rig at the lowest weight.
