DIR Mini Harness with 3mm Stainless H Mini Backplate

Description

A small diver in a drysuit needs weight but has less body to spread it across, so a compact steel plate earns its place where an aluminium one would leave the diver light. This Tecline set pairs the stainless steel 3 mm H MINI backplate, 32 by 20 cm and 0.92 kg, with the one-piece DIR MINI harness in soft webbing with the Tecline E logo, movable D-rings and a crotch strap, for a set weight of 1.52 kg. Tecline intend the MINI plate for divers shorter than 150 cm. On winter dives at an inland site, the steel plate carries part of the ballast on the back instead of the hips. The soft webbing bends easily around a small frame and sits comfortably over a thin wetsuit in summer. The harness is cut to fit one diver. The rest of the rig, from wing to bands, is sold on its own. It suits a small diver who wants a steel DIR rig sized to fit.
