Description

Keeping a junior rig simple keeps the cost down, and a young diver on a small cylinder needs little more than a wing, a harness and somewhere to trim the lead. The Junior DIR Set II is the plainer of Tecline's Donut 10 DIR junior sets, pairing the Donut 10 wing with a DIR harness on an aluminium MIDI backplate, trim pockets and tank bands. The Donut 10 gives 10 kg of lift with the single tank adapter built into the wing, a PU-240 bladder inside a Cordura shell and a rear dump valve. The aluminium MIDI plate is the smaller Tecline plate, recommended for divers about 150 to 170 cm tall. It fits a child's first own rig for pool sessions and sheltered bays, a junior who shares a boat with parents on a reef holiday, and a club that wants a lower-cost junior set. It suits a young diver who needs a simple DIR rig in a small size.
