Donut 17 DIR Set

Description

Cold inland water, a thick suit and a 15 litre steel cylinder add up to a rig that needs more lift than most single tank wings give. This Tecline set builds that rig from the Donut 17 wing, a one-piece DIR harness on a 3 mm stainless steel backplate, and two tank bands. The wing gives 17 kg of lift and has the single tank adapter built in, and its oval shape lets gas move freely in any position. The outer shell is non-fading Heavy Duty 1000D nylon with a YKK zip, and the Nylon 840 bladder resists ageing and cracking. It fits a winter quarry diver in a drysuit, a wreck diver carrying a reel, lights and a surface marker, and a diver preparing for technical training on a single cylinder. The DIR harness can be ordered with fixed or movable D-rings, and weight pockets are not part of this set. It suits a diver who needs big single tank lift on a traditional harness.
