Donut 17 DIR Set with Weight Pockets

Description

A drysuit diver on a single steel cylinder often carries more lead than a belt can take comfortably, and a heavy belt makes kitting up on a boat awkward. This Tecline set adds two weight pockets to the Donut 17 DIR rig, so ballast rides on the 3 mm stainless steel backplate instead. The Donut 17 wing brings 17 kg of lift with the single tank adapter built in, a non-fading 1000D nylon shell with a YKK zip, and a Nylon 840 bladder. Its 40 cm inflator is led out on the left and the low-profile dump carries a red ball, with drain holes between the layers. It works for a cold-water diver in thick undergarments, a boat diver who wants to hand up one rig rather than a rig and a belt, and a photographer who wants the hips free. The DIR harness comes with fixed or movable D-rings, and two tank bands are included. It suits a heavily weighted single tank diver.
