Expandable Mono Valve 232 bar

Description

Starting on a single cylinder should not mean buying new valves when the diving later moves to a twinset or sidemount. This Tecline expandable mono valve works as an ordinary 232 bar DIN valve, with a G5/8 outlet, an M25x2 cylinder thread and Viton seals, but it also has a side port. That port takes Tecline's second outlet, their isolator bridge or a blind plug. A diver training on a single cylinder this year can have a technician bolt two of these into a twinset next year with only the bridge added. A cold-water diver can fit the second outlet and run two first stages on one cylinder, each with its own handwheel. Tecline France describe the valve as well suited to sidemount cylinders. Left and right versions are not interchangeable in a manifold. Fitting is work for a qualified cylinder technician. It suits a diver building gear in stages towards twin or sidemount cylinders.
