Harness Webbing 50mm

Description

A harness is only as sound as its webbing, and old webbing that has been cut, burnt at the ends and rethreaded too many times is worth replacing. Tecline's standard harness webbing is 50 mm wide and 2.2 mm thick, woven from soft knitted fibre and sold by the metre. It comes in black and in orange. For a diver building a one-piece DIR harness from scratch, it is the base material the D-rings and tri-glides thread onto. An orange length makes a crotch strap or waist section easy to see in low visibility or on a training rig. The ends should be sealed with heat after cutting to stop fraying. It suits a diver or workshop making or rebuilding a harness.
