Tecline Hose Stabilizer

Description

A long hose that is not routed under a canister light tends to drift and loop away from the diver, where it can catch on a line or a wreck. Tecline's hose stabilizer is a slim delrin guide, 15 cm long and 1 cm across, that fits onto any standard 50 mm harness webbing and keeps the long hose loop in place during the dive. It weighs about 40 g. On a single-cylinder DIR rig without a light canister, it gives the loop the anchor point the canister would normally provide. With a twinset, it keeps the long hose tidy on the right side of the harness. Being all delrin, it has no metal parts to corrode. It suits a diver who dives a long hose without a canister light and wants the loop kept close.
