Jet Fin Spring Straps

Description

Rubber fin straps perish, and the buckles that tighten them are fiddly with thick gloves on and prone to snapping on a cold morning. A stainless steel spring strap removes both problems: it keeps constant tension on the heel and slips on and off with a pull on a loop. Tecline make these for their JetStream fins and other jet-style fins with wire-hook mounting, with a rubber heel pad and a large pull loop on each spring. They are the standard upgrade for technical and cave divers wearing drysuit boots, useful on a cold quarry dive where fingers are numb, and on a boat where fins go on at the stern and must be secure on the first try. Sizes run from M at 21.5 cm to XXL at 32.5 cm; the right length depends on boot size. It suits a diver who wants a fin strap that needs no adjusting on the boat.
