Tecline Jetstream Fins

Description

Technical and drysuit divers need a fin that is heavy enough to keep the legs level, short enough to turn in a tight space and stiff enough for a clean frog kick. Tecline's Jetstream is a classic rubber jet-style fin with stainless steel spring straps in a rubber cover, a relatively short, springy blade and a foot pocket shaped for divers with a high instep. Each fin weighs about half a kilo in the water, which helps a drysuit diver keep the feet down. Inside a wreck or a cave the short blade makes back kicks and helicopter turns easier in confined spaces. On a cold inland dive with thick rock boots the spring straps slip on and off without fiddling with buckles. Sizes run from EU 37 to 47, and the fins are supplied in orange. They are heavier on land than a travel fin, so they are better suited to local diving than to a flight with a tight baggage limit. It suits a technical or drysuit diver who wants a traditional rubber jet fin.
