LC Line Cutter

Description

A cutter the size of a palm can live in a pocket, on a shoulder strap or on a waist belt, which means it stays on the diver rather than in the kit bag. Tecline's LC is a compact hook-style line cutter about 100 mm long, with a stainless steel blade set deep inside a plastic body so the edge meets line but not skin or neoprene. On a technical dive with a crowded harness, it takes up almost no room beside a reel and spool. On a recreational dive near fishing grounds, the large finger hole lets a gloved hand draw it from a pocket and use it without looking. When the blade dulls it can be replaced, and two spares come in the pack. It is made for line and thin cord, not for thick rope or heavy net. It suits a diver who wants a minimal emergency cutter that fits anywhere on a rig.
