Tecline Minirazor Beta Knife

Description

A knife strapped to the calf is out of reach when a line wraps around a tank valve, which is why many divers now carry a small blade on the harness. The Minirazor Beta is a 170 mm knife with a 77 mm blade in 420 stainless steel, carried in a nylon pouch that mounts on harness webbing. The blade is double-edged, with one smooth and one toothed cutting edge, and the handle end works as a hammer and screwdriver. On a wreck, the toothed edge saws through fishing line and old netting. At a quarry site, the short blade is easy to control with gloves on. The butt end can tap a stubborn shackle or turn a screw on a boat. It suits a diver who wants a compact harness knife with more than one job.
