Mono Valve G5/8 300 bar

Description

A 300 bar cylinder is only filled to the rating of the valve screwed into it, so the extra gas it was bought for depends on a valve built to match. Tecline make this mono valve for 300 bar service, with a G5/8 DIN outlet, an M25x2 cylinder thread, Viton seals and the handwheel on the right-hand side. A compact 10 litre steel cylinder at 300 bar carries close to the gas of a larger cylinder at 232 bar, which helps on a small boat where rack space is short. The same valve suits a diver whose local fill station runs a 300 bar compressor for technical and cold inland dives. Its deeper 300 bar DIN outlet takes only regulators with a 300 bar DIN connector, so older 232 bar regulators will not fit. Fitting is work for a qualified cylinder technician. It suits a diver who owns, or plans to own, a 300 bar cylinder and regulator.
