Nitrox Cylinder Sticker

Description

A cylinder of enriched air looks exactly like a cylinder of air, so what is inside has to be labelled clearly before it goes near a boat or a fill station. Tecline's English-language nitrox sticker is the familiar yellow and green panel, with space to write the oxygen percentage, the maximum operating depth in metres of seawater, the analysis date and the starting pressure. On a dive centre's rental fleet it lets staff and guests pick out nitrox cylinders at a glance on a crowded boat deck. For a diver who owns a cylinder it gives a permanent place to record each fill after analysing it. The 20 by 15 cm size suits smaller cylinders and stages, while the 30 by 22.5 cm size is made for a full-size single cylinder. A printed band across the middle states that the gas is not air and that using it requires the proper certification. It suits a nitrox-certified diver or a dive operator marking enriched air cylinders.
