O2 Mono Valve M26X2 232 bar

Description

Pure oxygen and rich nitrox call for a cylinder valve that an ordinary air regulator physically cannot be screwed onto. This Tecline mono valve uses the M26x2 outlet thread that European standards reserve for oxygen-rich gas, rated to 232 bar, with Viton seals, a green handwheel and an M25x2 cylinder thread. Tecline fit it to their own 7 litre and 11.1 litre aluminium stage sets for oxygen. A technical diver building a 100 percent oxygen cylinder for shallow decompression stops gets the thread separation the standard intends. The same valve suits a 50 percent nitrox stage carried on longer decompression dives in a cold quarry. Only regulators with an M26x2 connector fit, and oxygen service needs oxygen-clean components and fills by a trained blender. Fitting is work for a qualified cylinder technician. It suits a diver or centre setting up a dedicated oxygen or rich nitrox cylinder.
