Peanut 16 Travel Set Light

Description

A diver who travels often but also dives at home wants one rig that packs light and still takes standard accessories. Tecline's Peanut 16 Travel Set Light uses a standard aluminium backplate rather than the H-shaped plate, with a single tank adapter, a DIR harness, backplate padding and two tank bands, and the full set weighs 3.05 kg. The standard plate shape accepts the same pockets and accessories as a steel plate, which makes the rig easy to extend later. The asymmetric Peanut 16 wing gives 16 kg of lift, with a PU240 bladder in a Cordura 1000D shell. It fits a diver who flies to the Red Sea once a year and dives a local quarry the rest of the time, a liveaboard guest who wants their own rig on board, and a diver planning to add weight pockets later. It suits a diver who wants a light travel rig on a standard plate.
