Peanut 16 Travel Set Ultra Light

Description

On a flight with a 20 kg baggage limit, a 5 kg dive rig leaves little room for anything else. Tecline's Peanut 16 Travel Set Ultra Light comes in at 2.79 kg, pairing the asymmetric Peanut 16 wing with an H-shaped aluminium backplate that needs no separate single tank adapter, a DIR harness, backplate protection and two tank bands. The Peanut 16 gives 16 kg of lift, with a PU240 bladder inside a Cordura 1000D shell, and its shape helps keep a comfortable position in the water and a head-high one at the surface. It covers a reef holiday on hired aluminium cylinders, a winter week somewhere cold with a 5 mm suit, and a dive-and-safari trip where kit is packed and moved every few days. Weight pockets are not included. It suits a travelling diver who wants a light rig with mid-range lift.
