Description

Big lift usually means a heavy rig, which is the wrong trade for a diver who flies to cold or current-swept dive sites. Tecline's Peanut 21 Travel Set Light keeps the 21 kg Peanut 21 Travel wing and trims the rest: a standard 3 mm aluminium backplate, a DIR harness with two bent and one straight D-ring and a stainless buckle, a Travel backplate soft pad and two tank bands, for 3.07 kg in total. The standard plate shape takes the usual Tecline pockets and accessories, so the set can grow at home. The wing has a PU240 bladder inside a Cordura 1000D shell. It serves a drysuit trip abroad on hired steel cylinders, a liveaboard in strong current where extra lift is welcome, and a diver who wants one rig for travel and local diving. It suits a travelling diver who needs 21 kg of lift in a light set.
