Tecline Pony SPG 26 mm

Description

A small pony or argon cylinder carries so little gas that a full-size gauge on a long hose makes no sense, yet diving it without a reading is guesswork. Tecline's 26 mm gauge is sized for exactly those cylinders. Its colour-banded dial carries a bar scale and a psi scale. The first version screws straight into the HP port of the first stage, so the gauge sits on the regulator with no hose at all, the neatest option for an argon bottle on a backplate. The second version is fitted with a swivel for mounting on an HP hose and a ring for clipping it where it can be seen, useful on a pony cylinder slung under the arm or a bail-out bottle on a sidemount rig. That covers a drysuit argon system, a pony cylinder on a deep recreational dive, and a small bail-out cylinder for a photographer. The HP hose for the second version is sold separately. It suits a diver who wants to see the pressure in a small cylinder without a bulky gauge.
