Description

Rubber fin straps perish and snap, usually on the boat, and stainless steel spring straps avoid that problem and slip on without adjusting a buckle. Tecline's spring straps for PowerJet fins are stainless steel springs sheathed in black webbing with orange stripes, with rubber end caps, stainless steel hooks and a webbing pull loop at the heel. They are sold as a pair in three lengths: M at 25 cm for EU shoe sizes 40 to 42, L at 27 cm for 42 to 44 and XL at 30 cm for 44 to 46. On a PowerJet with worn rubber straps they turn putting fins on in a swell into a single pull. In thick drysuit boots the pull loop gives a gloved hand something to grab. They also fit many other open heel fins with suitable mounting points. It suits a diver upgrading a pair of open heel fins to spring straps.
