Proflex HP Hose

Description

A rubber gauge hose adds weight to a travel kit and springs back into the same stiff curve however the console is stowed. The Tecline Proflex HP hose uses a double-braided construction instead, about 30% lighter than a traditional rubber hose, more flexible, and more resistant to mechanical damage. It is certified to EN 250 under the European personal protective equipment regulation and comes in black, in nine lengths from 0.15 m to 0.80 m. For a flight with a strict baggage allowance, the lighter hose trims weight from the regulator bag. On a sidemount rig, the 0.15 m to 0.25 m lengths keep each cylinder's gauge short and clipped close to the body. On a single-cylinder back-mount set, the 0.56 m to 0.80 m lengths bring the gauge under the arm to where it can be read. A qualified technician should fit it and check it for leaks. It suits a diver cutting weight from a travel rig or setting up sidemount gauges.
