Proflex LP Regulator Hose

Description

Telling a primary from an octopus, or one stage regulator from another, takes longer when every hose on the rig is the same black rubber. The Tecline Proflex LP hose comes in black, yellow, white, blue and green, in lengths from 0.50 m to 2.10 m. Its double nylon braid, with a soft outer layer that does not scratch, makes it about 30% lighter than rubber and more flexible, and it resists puncture, abrasion and UV light. Tecline's EU declaration lists the 0.70 m to 2.10 m lengths under EN 250. In yellow, it marks an octopus clearly for a buddy on a recreational dive. For a technical diver, the 1.93 m and 2.10 m lengths make a light, flexible long-hose primary. With stage cylinders, white, blue or green hoses separate one regulator from the next. Each hose runs from a first stage low pressure port to a second stage, and installation is work for a qualified technician. It suits a diver colour-coding a rig, or replacing a heavy rubber regulator hose.
