R2 Tec 5 Port First Stage

Description

On a sidemount or drysuit rig the LP ports run out before anything else does: a primary second stage, a backup, a wing inflator and a drysuit hose already fill four. This version of the R2 TEC leaves the factory with a fifth LP port, giving seven outlets with the two HP ports, all on a 360 degree turret so each hose leaves at the angle the rig needs. On a sidemount pair, where Tecline rate it perfect, the spare port keeps the hose layout the same on both cylinders. A drysuit diver in a cold inland quarry can run the suit, the wing and two second stages from one first stage. Tecline also rate it perfect for a stage cylinder and suit it to single tanks and twinsets. The balanced diaphragm runs at 9.0 bar intermediate pressure, with a dry chamber against freezing, in chrome-plated marine bronze weighing 781 g, built to EN 250A for cold water with a DIN 300 bar connection. It suits a sidemount or drysuit diver who needs one more LP port.
