R2 Tec First Stage

Description

Hoses that leave a first stage at fixed angles end up looped around the valve knob, and each change of configuration means fighting them again. The R2 TEC turns on a 360 degree turret, so every hose can point where the rig needs it. Tecline rate it perfect for sidemount and for stage cylinders, where hoses have to run tight along the body, and well suited to a single tank or one side of a twinset. Inside is a balanced diaphragm at 9.0 bar intermediate pressure, with a dry chamber and cold kit that keep water away from the mechanism in cold conditions, in a chrome-plated marine bronze body of 781 g. There are four LP and two HP ports. The DIN version is rated to 300 bar, the yoke version to 230 bar for INT valves, and the O2 version carries a DIN connection with an M26x2 thread, recommended by Tecline for stage cylinders. A factory five-port model is listed separately. It suits a diver who wants one first stage to move between configurations.
