R2 TEC1 Semitec I Set

Description

Moving from an octopus to a long hose and a necklace backup is the first step most divers take toward technical diving, and it usually means rebuilding the regulator. Tecline's SemiTec I set arrives already in that layout for a single cylinder. One R2 TEC first stage, a balanced diaphragm with a dry chamber and a 360 degree turret, feeds two TEC1 second stages: the primary on a 1.93 m black Proflex hose, and the backup on a 0.61 m black Proflex hose for a bungee necklace. A bolt snap and a Tecline bag complete it. The second option adds a 52 mm pressure gauge on a 0.60 m Proflex HP hose and a second bolt snap, so the gauge can clip off at the hip. That fits a single tank course that teaches long-hose donation, a cold-water wreck dive on one cylinder, and a trip where a twinset is not practical. Both second stages are pneumatically balanced with a heat exchanger, and the set meets EN 250A. It suits a single tank diver adopting a long-hose configuration.
