R2 TEC1 Sidemount Set

Description

Sidemount puts two independent regulators under the arms, and each needs its hoses cut and angled for its own side before the rig feels right. Tecline's sidemount set supplies both regulators matched: two R2 TEC first stages, the model Tecline rate perfect for sidemount, with their 360 degree turrets letting each hose leave at the angle the cylinder position needs. Two TEC1 second stages run on a 1.93 m and a 0.65 m black Proflex LP hose, and two 52 mm pressure gauges hang on 0.20 m HP hoses so each cylinder can be read at a glance. A bolt snap and a Tecline bag are included. The first stages are balanced diaphragms with dry chambers, the second stages pneumatically balanced with heat exchangers, all to EN 250A. That suits a cave or cavern course taken in sidemount, a shore dive where carrying two small cylinders beats lifting a twinset, and a tight wreck swim-through. It suits a diver setting up a first sidemount rig who wants both regulators from one maker.
