R2 TEC2 Sidemount Set

Description

In a restriction on a sidemount dive each regulator has to be breathable from either cylinder, and a second stage that only breathes well on the primary side is a weak link. Tecline's R2 TEC2 sidemount set fits both cylinders with the top TEC2 second stage: pneumatically balanced, with venturi and breathing resistance knobs, a heat exchanger and the direct flow system. The two R2 TEC first stages, rated perfect for sidemount by Tecline, turn on 360 degree turrets so the 1.93 m and 0.65 m black Proflex hoses leave at the right angle for each side. Two 52 mm pressure gauges ride on 0.20 m HP hoses, and a bolt snap and an oval Tecline bag complete the set, all to EN 250A. That suits a cold-water cave course in sidemount, a low wreck penetration where a twinset would catch, and a travel rig built around two small cylinders. It suits a sidemount diver who wants top-grade second stages on both cylinders.
