R4 TEC1 Regulator Set

Description

Dive clubs and schools need regulator sets that pack small, travel well and cope with the cold water of a winter training weekend. These R4 TEC1 sets build a complete rig around the R4 TEC, Tecline's compact 637 g diaphragm first stage with a dry chamber and cold kit. A black TEC1 primary rides on a 0.70 m black Proflex hose and a yellow TEC1 octopus on a 0.90 m yellow Proflex hose, both pneumatically balanced with venturi and breathing resistance knobs and a heat exchanger, and the instruments hang on a 0.80 m rubber HP hose, all in a Tecline bag and to EN 250A. Set I adds a 63 mm pressure gauge for a diver who relies on a computer. Set II adds a two-gauge console with a depth gauge, a sensible backup on an instructor's rental rack. Set III adds a compass, useful when an open-water course reaches navigation. It suits a club, school or diver buying a light, complete cold-water regulator set.
