R4 TEC2 Set II Regulator

Description

Kitting out for open water means a regulator, a spare air source and a way to read gas and depth, and buying them piece by piece leaves the hoses to chance. Tecline's Set II packages the R4 TEC first stage with a TEC2 second stage, a yellow TEC2 octopus and a two-gauge console, on hoses cut for a single cylinder. The R4 TEC is a compact balanced diaphragm stage with a dry chamber and an extra cold kit, and the TEC2 adds a heat exchanger and Teflon-coated metal parts. That makes the set a match for a winter dive in an inland quarry, a week on a liveaboard, and a diver who later moves the first stage onto a twinset, a use Tecline rate highly. Both second stages are pneumatically balanced with venturi and breathing resistance adjustment and Tecline's direct flow system. Tecline state that the regulators exceed EN 250A. It suits a diver buying a first complete regulator set who wants it to stay useful in cold water.
